What kind of activities is the DAA involved in?

The DAA has two basic purposes.  First, we want to be a resource for those involved in astronomy or those new to astronomy.  This purpose will be pursued through our regular monthly meetings and club observing sessions.   The second purpose is promotion and education.   We hope to promote astronomy and knowledge about astronomy in our community.  This will be accomplished through public viewing events and other out reach initiatives.
